We’re Ash and Ceara—a dynamic Gemini + Taurus duo who also identify as proud shopping addicts, bookworms, champagne poppers, coffee enthusiasts, storytellers, and the web design wizards ready to turn your big dreams into reality.
We’ve always been go-getters who value human connection above all else, so we obsess over working 1:1 with fellow ambitious authors who want to expand their reach and influence globally.
If you hadn’t already guessed, we love to have fun and NEVER take ourselves too seriously. But our work? Oh, we’re deadly serious about that.

We weren’t always this lighthearted and free! Less than a decade ago, you’d have found us working in corporate office jobs, burnt out by the daily commute and feeling deflated by the lack of quality time spent with family. Something just had to give.
We craved financial and creative freedom and for our work to have more of a meaningful impact. So, in 2020, we took the plunge and waved the corporate world goodbye…
Never in a million years did we imagine we would be running our own thriving agency, single-handedly helping hundreds of authors achieve their career goals, find their own financial freedom, and build their personal brands.
Fast forward just a few years to today, and that’s precisely what we’re doing!

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
2020
Can we be totally honest with you? We initially started AA Creative Co because we were tired of making a sh*t load of money for huge, faceless corporations. We wanted to work on our own terms, make more of a direct impact, and achieve financial freedom to allow us to spend more time with family. After 10+ years climbing the corporate ladder in UX design, I (Ash) finally took the leap, and in 2020, AA Creative Co was born.

2021
What began as a full-service marketing agency quickly evolved into a unique mission to work exclusively with authors, thanks to an author friend who approached me looking for help with her website and marketing. The rest, as they say, is history! Clients loved the fresh, specialized perspective and results-driven approach AA Creative Co offered them. Ceara, an experienced E-commerce manager and developer who was also tired of the corporate grind, soon joined the team to help authors boost their sales and pave their way to success.

As our client list grew, so did our areas of expertise. We made the big girl move from our cozy living room office to a vibrant co-working space that reflected the dynamic energy and ambition of our expanding team and client base—and we’ve never looked back!

Cut to today; we’ve built a solid foundation and reputation for excellence and are well known in the author world as the go-to team to help boost earnings and build brands. We’re always innovating and embracing the latest trends and technologies to keep our ambitious clients ahead of the curve. As we continue to inspire and empower authors to reach new heights and hit their financial goals, we love nothing more than to cheer them on from the sidelines with a bottle of champagne (or two)!
ASH AYRES | Founder & Director
I’ve always been an avid reader with an enormous book collection, and my dream is to one day have my own library wall with a rolling ladder (yep, exactly like that one you’re imagining from Beauty and the Beast!). When I’m not breathing new life into author websites, you’ll find me sipping on a cappuccino at my fave cafe, Wildflower, popping a bottle of champagne (I don’t need an excuse!), hanging with my kids, or indulging in a little retail therapy!
CEARA JOHNSTON | Development Specialist
When I’m not tackling coding problems or making authors bank, you’ll find me soaking up the Vitamin D fix on my daily #hotmumwalks, indulging in my (not so) guilty pleasure of reality TV, or winding down from the day with a good book. While I’m not a huge drinker, you’ll never see me turn down the offer of a spicy marg or glass of champagne.
